We Are Aurora Youth is a program designed to give the youth of Aurora ages 13 to 18 a fun and safe place to hang out during school breaks. Youth can receive free entry to a designated recreational center on weekdays from noon to 7 p.m. Youth will be able to participate in staff led activities such as basketball, volleyball, flag football, esports, gift card competitions, and other activities.

From noon to 4 p.m. the designated recreation central will have free meals for youth provided by Aurora Public Schools during the We Are Aurora Youth program.     

We Are Aurora Youth's next time of operation will be Fall Break. For Central Recreation Center, Moorhead Recreation Center, and Southeast Recreation Center and Fieldhouse, this will take place from Oct. 13 to Oct. 17.

Support Youth Development

Be a positive influence in the life of a child! Give back to youth in Aurora by volunteering at summer and afterschool meal sites, or help lead enrichment activities in afterschool programs held at school sites in north Aurora, or volunteer in youth drop-in programs at our recreation centers.
