Aurora Water is nationally recognized for its award-winning, high-quality drinking water. In fact, we are the only water department in the county to have the highest honor at three water purification facilities for treatment and for maintaining quality as the water travels through pipes to homes and businesses. These distinctions for treatment and distribution optimization come from the Partnership for Safe Water, a collaboration with the American Water Works Association, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other water organizations.
