The leaves are changing and so is the Aurora Water Community Engagement team!
In September we welcomed our new fall/winter intern.
"Hello. I'm Henry, and I'm excited to be working with Aurora Water (and the awesome people of Aurora) over the next few months. My educational and professional background has spanned water quality analytics, hydrology, and social engagement in the water resources sector; feel free to ask about any of that when you see me at any of our forthcoming events. When not working, I'm often looking for, watching, or participating in live theatre in the area. I look forward to talking with you all soon!"
As we look ahead toward cooler, shorter days, Henry and the team are planning some new events and pop-ups.
In the coming months, we will have a table at the following events:
• Aurora Water Community Update
5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday Nov. 19
Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway
• City of Aurora Holiday Tree Lighting
5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8
Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway
If you’d like to chat and can’t make it to any official events, find us on a weekday in a city of Aurora library, recreation center or golf course near you.
We will keep the schedule updated as the season progresses, so watch this space.
Have an event coming up that you’d like us to attend? Please reach out to [email protected] to get on our schedule.
