Aurora Youth Civic Engagement Academy

Empowering the Next Generation of Aurora Civic Leaders

About the Program

Are you interested in finding out how you can contribute to your community once you reach adulthood? Do you want to learn more about civic and government career paths? The city of Aurora Youth Civic Engagement Academy is designed to educate and empower the youth of Aurora.

Students in middle school and high school are invited to apply now to participate in this first-ever academy just for youth. This seven-week program will bring students into contact with several Aurora civic leaders, provide tangible workshops and interactive lectures, and provide a place for youth to voice their concerns and opinions related to the community. Participation is free.
