The Aurora Museum Foundation is proud to present the 26th Annual Festival of Wreaths! 

What is the Festival of Wreaths?

The Festival of Wreaths is an annual fundraiser organized by the Aurora Museum Foundation and Aurora History Museum and Historic Sites.
Beginning on November 4, festive wreaths created by members of the community will be displayed in the AHM Community Gallery. A fundraiser and Celebration of the exhibit will occur on Thursday, November 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. Santa will also make a special appearance at the museum on November 13 from 4 to 6 p.m. Sign up below.
Support the museum by visiting, voting for your favorite wreath, and bidding on wreaths in-person or online.
Silent bidding will take place on Bidding Owl.  All proceeds from the online auction and the November 13th event support exhibits and educational programs. See below for details.

How Do I Donate a Wreath?

Wreaths can be picked up at the museum with a suggested donation to the Aurora Museum Foundation. You do not need to get your wreath from the museum to donate a wreath.

Please deliver wreaths by October 24 at 4:00 p.m. at the latest to allow time for staff to prepare the exhibit.

Donation Guidelines

• Fill out this Donation Form
• Drop wreaths off by the deadline or contact the museum to make arrangements.
• All wreaths will be valued as "priceless" unless accompanied by a product of experience with a set fair market value.
• Products, vouchers, and/or gift cards must be delivered to the museum to be stored until the auction winner collects the wreath.
• The museum will not post a value unless the product/voucher is at the museum.
• Suggested total value of donated products or certificates is $5 - $100 per wreath.
• Businesses are allowed to donate products without decorating a wreath. Donated products that do not have a wreath will be attached to a donated wreath.

Decoration Guidelines

• Wreath Donors can provide their own wreaths. The average size of a wreath is 24" in diameter.
• All decorations must be non-perishable.
• You are not required to include products of gift certificates as a part of your wreath.
• DO NOT use donated products to decorate your wreath. If a product is used in decoration it will not be included in the monetary value of the wreath.

When and where can I see the wreaths?

Beginning on November 5, wreaths donated to the museum by the community will be on display in the museum's Community Gallery until December 6.
The museum is open Tues. - Fri., 9:00 am - 4:00 pm and Sat. & Sun. 11:00 am - 4:00 pm, or visit during The exhibit opening on Nov. 13. We are located at 15051 E Alameda Parkway.

Festival of Wreaths Celebration and Fundraiser Event

Join us celebrate 26 years of the Festival of Wreaths. Support your local museum while enjoying appetizers and seeing all the wreaths at the Aurora History Museum. 
This year’s proceeds from silent auctions will help fund the internships as well as the exhibits, programs, and outreach you love.

How do I vote for my favorite wreath?

We will also hold a ballot for a People's Choice wreath. Come to the museum to view the wreaths and vote for your favorite while you're here. People's Choice ballots are in-person only.

What Do Donations Fund?

This year's proceeds will go towards exhibits and educational programs at the museum with a focus on increasing internships.
