Please make sure to read all documents thoughtfully and thoroughly before registering for classes. Also make sure to consult each center's schedule, as we have added some new classes to the schedule, some classes have changed time slots/days of the week and some classes of the same level may take place at various locations or on various days of the week to give you many options.
OTHER HELPFUL HINTS FOR SUMMER DANCE REGISTRATION:
To register for the Aurora Dance Arts Summer Dance classes, you need to have a city of Aurora account. Don’t have an account? It’s easy to create one. Please visit http://AuroraPROS.org/Register, then click the yellow button that reads "Sign In/Up"to create an account and/or register for dance classes. All summer class registration is available online or by calling the Dance Office at 303.326.8308.
Most registration is based on age and/or ability level. Children must be the base age of a level by the start date of the class in order to be registered.
There are several classes that require prior dance experience and/or instructor approval. If a class is starred with an asterisk * that means that registration approval is based on a student’s 2025-2026 Continuous Dance level or requires that a student be recommended for that class.
Pre Pointe class with Ms. Michelle and Pointe classes with Ms. Erin can ONLY be taken in conjunction with their corresponding Ballet level. Example - Beg Pointe can only be taken in conjunction with Ballet II/III or Int/Adv Pointe can only be taken in conjunction with Ballet III/IV, etc. All pointe classes are starred with multiple asterisks on the schedule to clarify.
SUMMER DANCE LEVEL SPECIFICATIONS FOR CURRENT CONTINUOUS DANCE STUDENTS:
- Unless otherwise instructed, all Continuous Dance Students should plan to remain in their current level for summer. Any progression of levels will take place in fall of 2026 for the 2026-2027 Continuous Dance Season. The Dance Office contacts all current Continuous Dance families via e-mail in June/July regarding level placement for next Continuous Dance season.
- If there is an exception and your child is recommended to move up to a higher level in the summer as opposed to the fall, the Dance Office will contact your family directly with that information. Dancers that are aging up may progress from Tippy Toes to Pre if they are turning 4 by the start date of Summer Dance classes, or from Pre/Adv Pre to the Beg if they are turning 7 by the start date of Summer Dance classes. Age progressions are only allowed without a teacher recommendation for Pre and Beg levels.
Please consult the pricing, style and level information to guide you in choosing the right class for you or your child. If you are new to our program, unsure of you or your child’s level or if you need to verify your child’s eligibility for enrollment in any particular class, please either call the Dance Office at 303.326.8308 or e-mail [email protected].
Class size is limited and classes tend to fill pretty quickly, especially for the younger age groups, so we do highly recommend registering as soon as possible.
